"Holding Earth and Sky" features a forest energy of growing beings. Trees - which hold the nutritious soil, rocks, and water in place for the understory to drink and be fed. Trees that grow up to the sky, taking in carbon dioxide and converting it to oxygen for us to breathe. The trees are working for us and should be reveared. Sheirer uses water-based inks and metallic powders on Yupo to represent the forest in a gestural, living way....
